What is the cost to get in?
Cost is $10 per adult, and kids 10 and under are free.
Are kids welcome?
By all means, yes! We wanted to create an event in Dothan that allows families to celebrate St. Patrick’s day with everyone, not just adults cramped in a bar.
Are dogs welcome?
Service animals are always welcome, and four legged family members are welcome as well, as long as they are penned or on a leash
Is alcohol allowed?
Alcohol will not be sold at the event.
Can we bring in coolers?
Personal coolers are not allowed.
Where is the event located?
The Houston County Farm Center, 1701 E Cottonwood Rd, Dothan, AL 36301. You can look at the main page and you will see a map. The marker shows where the event will be held. This way you can get a visual idea of where we are, and look for the best route to get there.
What will the parking situation be?
I can tell you we will be working to ensure that it is far from a “situation”. No one likes a difficult parking lot. We will stage the parking area as close as possible to the event.
Can we bring in folding chairs?
Yes. Folding chairs are welcome at the events.
What happens if it is forecast to rain?
Rain or shine, we are putting this on, just stick an umbrella in your car if you think it might rain. There are no rain checks.
Can I take pictures or video?
Yes. Still and video cameras are allowed, and welcomed.
Can we go in and out?
We will be allowing exit and re-entry, with the provided marker. This way you can run out to your car and store all of your newly acquired purchases and not be bogged down lugging them around.
Can we smoke/vape?
This will be an outside event, and local ordinances do not prohibit smoking or vaping. However, we do ask that you respect those around you.
What is the schedule?
Gates will open at 9 am with the welcoming ceremonies and benediction at noon followed by the Parade of Tartans. Awards will be given around 4:30 to 5:00.
